New Years Resolutions: Not the Normal Hype

Not the Normal New Years Resolution Hype

Saddle up, we’re talking New Years Resolutions today.

But first, I MISSED YOU! I’ve taken a bit of a break to get settled and to get intentional…sorry I made a few of you worry!

We are doing good and I have my bed finally. YAY.

This move is causing me to approach my business different, which means that I’ll be making some changes…more on that later.

FIRST…I want to talk about goals.

Since you maybe made some new ones given this time of year inspires people to take on that fresh start energy.

You may even be tempted to set some New Years Resolutions, caught in that New Year, New You buzz.

So here is the very most important thing you need to know about achieving your goals:

If you deny yourself from feeling good until you achieve your goal you likely wont. You must find a way to create enjoyment through the process and the journey. Focus on who you are becoming as you grow into the goal rather than all the reasons your brain will tell you why you can’t achieve it. 

Big huge major hint: you do it with your thoughts.


What thoughts about your specific goal would you need to practice to have fun, find enjoyment, get curious, and committed to achieving this goal?

Seriously. Take 30 minutes and think it out.

This is the most important thing you can do to guarantee your success.

Make a list of thoughts you can practice everyday until you achieve your goal. Write them down. Read them as much as you need to remind yourself that you can and you will achieve them. Rinse and repeat.

BAM! How was that?

Now to the big changes on my end: 

I have been getting really clear on who and how I will be helping with my coaching practice which means that I will be making some big changes in my coaching programs in the coming weeks.
